BuckShot Manufacturing, LLC is the only authorized licensed distributor of the patented and trademarked Equalizer® Geared Leveling Treestand and the BuckShot BigShot®—two of the most trusted climbing treestands for hunting on the market today.

Our story began in 1988 when BuckShot Inc., founded by Tom Graham Sr. and his family, introduced the now-iconic BuckShot BigShot® Treestand. Over the years, hundreds of thousands of these climbing treestands for hunting have been sold, with many still in use today—a testament to their durability and performance.

Building on this legacy, BuckShot Inc. developed the innovative Equalizer® Geared Leveling Treestand, officially patented and introduced in 2004. This groundbreaking design transformed the hunting experience by eliminating the need to start at extreme angles or guess the correct climbing position. Instead, hunters can attach the stand level—or slightly above level—and climb with confidence and ease.

The Equalizer® Treestand features an impressive 10-inch cable adjustment, accommodating nearly 6 inches of tree diameter variation. This flexibility makes it one of the most reliable and user-friendly climbing treestands for hunting in various environments.

In 2005, Equalizer Inc. was established as the official online distributor, further expanding access to this revolutionary product. BuckShot Manufacturing, LLC was later formed in 2012 with the goal of U.S.-based production. While initial manufacturing plans evolved, we proudly reintroduced the original Equalizer® Geared Leveling Treestand in 2017 through our trusted manufacturing partner.
